"Great location close to very good restaurants in Old San Juan. Just walk up the hill and you are overlooking the ocean from Castillo San Cristóbal. Comfortable bed and pillows, helpful staff, and good coffee in the morning. Had hoped for a view of the pier, but the hotel was fully booked and we didn’t arrive until 6 PM. Recommended. "

"My door did not lock and would continue beeping until it was addressed by the staff. They tried to repair it, but it was an ongoing issue that they were aware of. I needed to slam and lift the door in order to get it to click to be securely shut. I was concerned about someone being able to easily break in or for me to get trapped in the room. "
