The Ambassadeur Hotel holds a special, nostalgic place in our hearts. We particularly enjoy the pool area, which is a lot of fun and where moderate drinking is allowed, adding to the relaxed atmosphere. While the staff can be less responsive and the amenities are barely at a 3-star level, it's important to remember the price point. For what you pay, it's a convenient option, quite similar to a motel in its overall offering. Because we choose Expedia we have been placed in a room at the second floor, just over the restaurant and it was very hot there, we were in obligation to use the very very noisy and disturbing air conditioning all night.

Overall good hotel. It was sufficient for what was required. In room Air conditioning was super noisy! No room service or maid if you stay less then four night. I had to look like a crazy person for more towels. And forget about asking for pillows.
