"This had its share of missing ‘things’ (no milk or cream for coffee, cool shower, communication issues as we both massacred each others’ language!), but that is to be expected in many countries that aren’t Canada. Overall, I booked it because it was what I was looking for: near the airport, not a resort, small but with a pool, cure bar and decor, food (tho’ too much meat for a vegetarian- good thing I love rice & beans!). "Honestly no complaints about this property. Another blanket or pillow would have been nice. Its about a 10-15 min walk into the thick of downtown but we did this walk several times day and night with absolutely no problems. Would stay here again without hesitation."

"Our stay at villa elena was perfect. Suite 5 was lovely, ocean waves crashing all night, room was spotless upon arrival, and bed sheets made each night. Air conditioner worked perfect. Close to amenities and no road nice. Comfy king bed. "

"The room was clean and most things were fine (hot water not consistent and wrong wifi password given in the room though) and Ana was nice, but overall our check-in was difficult. The neighborhood seemed unsafe to arrive to at night and no one was there to let us in when we arrived (we only got in thanks to another traveler). Apparently Ana was supposed to come meet us at the time of our arrival, but we were never asked beforehand for that information and didn't know there would be no reception....
