"Super convenient location next to the Sakuramachi bus stop from the airport bus line. It is also a 5min walk to the red and blue line bus and shopping arcade with lots of shopping and restaurants. The staff was really helpful in arranging extra days for me to stay (since I was there during the typhoon). Stayed in the Kumamoto room which was really cute! Maybe if they gave a couple themed Kumamoto cookies it would have been perfect. Would stay again."

"This is our second time staying at this hotel. We booked the Basic Twin Room. The bathroom is quite old. It was very different to where we stayed in last year (we got a "new" room). I think this needs to be renovated, but the room itself is quite comfy, except the air conditioner. We tried to set the temperature to the lowest with high fan, but the room was still hot and stuffy especially when sleeping. Overall, we were pretty satisfied with the stay. "The staff was second to none. Friendly, helpful, and professional at all times. Room was clean, bed was great, and the food court had anything you could want to eat. Conveniences stores around the hotel were well stocked with any items you might need. Kumamoto Station was right there, next to the hotel, but we didn’t a lot of train noise in our room. Definitely will stay there again."

"Ok let's go through the negatives first. The hotel is dated, and it shows its age. The lobby, the hallway all remind you of the 80s. The washroom bath tub has unremovable stains. It doesn't come off but you can sure see it. Oh yeah the hotel is within walking distance from a cremation place too :) But that's where the negatives end. "We chose this hotel because it is walking distance to Kumamoto castle and the reviews were good. We were pleasantly surprised that friendliness and professionalism of the staff, convenience to the restaurants and stores for shopping, and room was very nice and comfortable. We tried weekend brunch buffet which was much better than we expected! Everything we had was so delicious!! I wished we were able to try their breakfast buffet as well. We would stay here again and it is highly recommended! "
