We were really happy with our room (with spa tub on club floor), resort was amazing with lots to do including 4 pools, direct beach access, night club, theatre, nightly shows and more. The staff was absolutely wonderful, especially in the buffet area. We would definitely stay again!"

"This resort is great if its what youre looking for. What this resort is: Family oriented, quieter, quaint, relaxing, super friendly staff and great pools. What this resort is not: party place, tons of entertainment or night time entertainment. Its not super "luxurious" or overly romantic. So your experience will depend on what you want. We travelled with 2 younger kids and it was great. The food also definitely punches above its weight for a 4 star. The food here was better then several 5 star resorts ive been too in Mexico / Dominican. The options outside of the buffet are amazing and most days you will probably find you dont even need to eat lunch at the buffet. "

"Review of Wyndham Grand Cancun We recently stayed at Wyndham Grand Cancun and had an overall wonderful experience. Here's a breakdown of our time there: Pros: The resort was exceptionally clean and well-maintained, providing a relaxing atmosphere throughout our stay. Our villa was spacious and well-appointed, offering a comfortable and convenient stay. Its location, close to the beach, was a definite highlight. The beach was pristine, with plenty of lounge chairs available for guests to relax. We also received outstanding service, particularly from Sergio and Enrique in the restaurants. Sergio was incredibly helpful with a couple of small scheduling issues, ensuring that our vacation went smoothly. Enrique, whom we met at the Italian restaurant, Da Vinci, added a special touch by helping us reminisce about our first visit to the resort 30 years ago on our honeymoon – he was working there at the time! Cons: The internet service was inconsistent, and we experienced complete lack of signal in much of our villa. Additionally, Verizon customers, like ourselves, may face weak and unreliable service on the resort grounds. Food-to-go options were limited. For example, if part of our group wanted sushi and others wanted burgers, we had to visit each restaurant separately instead of being able to bring food from one location to another, even if they were just a short distance apart. "My husband and I visited the Hyatt Vivid Grand Island to celebrate my 50th birthday, and it was the perfect getaway from the cold New York weather. Food The food exceeded our expectations for an all-inclusive resort. There were five restaurants offering Italian, Mexican, Mediterranean, French, and Japanese cuisines. The menus were largely fixed, so we knew what to expect, and room service was also included, which came in handy when I got sick with the flu (more on that shortly). Staff The staff truly made our stay special. Orlando from the entertainment team, is a standout—so kind and engaging. When I fell ill, my husband asked Orlando to pick up some Pepto-Bismol for us, and he did without hesitation. He even checked in on me later to see how I was doing. Then there was Fesh (also known as Sofia). One afternoon, I was reading alone by the pool, and she came over to check on me. We had an instant connection, chatting about the book I was reading. When she asked if there was anything I would change about the experience, I mentioned a small detail: I noticed a bit of dust on the elevator walls. By the end of the day, it was gone. I also want to thank Krystal and Armando for their help when I got sick. They went above and beyond, arranging a COVID test, picking up Tamiflu, and getting me cough medicine.
