"Truly a beautiful stay at this hotel. The service we received from all the staff was fantastic. Breakfast was great with several options. We had dinner on the rooftop and the food and service was great. The hotel is walkable to other eateries but the roads will several motorbikes and cars can cause a bit of concern however they did not hit anyone or anything 😊. Pool area is nice but I don’t think much of the beach which is not too far away. The hotel arranged for a shuttle to take us there but we had to find our way back but that was easy enough. The area outside of the hotel looks a bit rundown. If you are looking for a nice relaxing hotel with fabulous service this hotel fits the bill."

"The feel of the place was relaxing. It was the quiet season when we visited Bali so I appreciated the place not feeling too busy or over crowded. We stayed in the superior villa and I appreciated it’s authentic old feel of Bali, am grateful I didn’t book just a standard room as it was nice to walk through the gardens to our own separate hut!. The room was a little run down but it was really comfortable and we still enjoyed our stay, you’ll need to consider the stairs up to the room should you book this type of room. Overall the amenities are simple, hairdryer was weak, housekeeping was good, the place generally felt safe, although hubby tried to close the light in the wardrobe and got an electric shock due to an unusual style of wiring, overall the place felt secure and pleasant. Fresh bottled water was replaced daily for the use of brushing your teeth. The water in the shower was pleasant and warm. The pool area and swim up bar was also a little run down and the cocktails certainly needed improving, you’ll need to stick to the bottle beers or mixes if you want value for money. The staff are friendly. The complimentary shuttle twice a day to Seminyak square is helpful. But the 25 minute walk to the main heart of Seminyak is do-able. The surrounding area is pretty good. Little Revs is a 1 minute walk for good coffee and easy walking to pretty amazing eating areas too. I would certainly recommend staying at Hotel Villa Lumbung. "
