I ended up booking Little Turret after my prior VRBO cancelled just before my trip, Jane and Jon allowed me to stay over the Holiday when they normally would have closed. "Staff were friendly and the property itself exudes vintage elegance. Unfortunately our room (Room 5 on ground floor) smelt extremely strongly of damp, so we didn't unpack any belongings. Despite opening windows and airing the room, there remained a very strong smell. There is obviously a long-term damp problem with this room which the owners should really get fixed."
