"Casa Chameleon at Las Catalinas is a dream destination for those seeking luxury, privacy, and breathtaking scenery. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warm hospitality, a chilled towel. The property’s hilltop location offers stunning panoramic views of the Pacific Ocean and surrounding rainforest. Our villa 14 was thoughtfully designed with a private saltwater plunge pool, open-air shower, and fires that open to the beautiful plunge pool. The on-site restaurant, Sentido Norte, serves breakfast (included in the stay) each morning. This included fresh juice, fruits, pastries, and your choice of entree. A few practical tips: the terrain is steep, so be prepared for some walking, but the staff is always ready to assist with golf cart rides and also help with luggage. Also, if driving, opt for a suv because the road to get there is rough. Overall, Casa Chameleon exceeded all expectations!!"

"Our stay at the Villa was incredible. There were 10 of us celebrating our father’s 70th birthday and was the perfect place. Very safe and clean. It felt like our very own private resort. • Location is a beautiful beach view and in the town of Portrero. Expect daily walks on a beautiful beach and the sound of the ocean crashing every day is meditative. • Villa is very clean and has housekeeping come in daily (Yuri) who is absolutely wonderful. The beds are comfortable and all linens are clean. • The great room of the house is perfect for big families – we fully utilized the kitchen and every room upstairs has a view of the sunsets and ocean. The dishwasher is a bit wonky and could be fixed or replaced. Also the great room’s air conditioning/ fan system is quite weak. Each bedroom has it’s own air conditioner and fan which is amazing, but the great room/ main living room/ kitchen area of the villa should get checked out because the fan and air conditioners are not very effective. • The rooms downstairs open up to the main level and steps away from the ocean, so you don’t feel like you are lower level or basement. The bathrooms are much smaller downstairs and definitely dated and could use a refresh. • The pool could use an update but we used it daily and is aesthetically beautiful. • Arturo and Martine were very helpful and responded quickly to our every need. • There is construction going on right beside us so that was loud at times"
