"Great Location , very convenience clean place and nice service"

"We stayed here for two nights in February. The convenience of the location can’t really be beat, as it’s right next to Ueno Station. Here’s some pros and cons: Pros: • Super convenient • Great staff • Nice sized room (for a business hotel) • Basement restaurant breakfast was excellent. • Clean hotel • Our room had two beds, with enough space for our luggage. Cons: • There was some peeling wallpaper by the window. • The window faced a wall. • Bathroom was small, but not bad, just small. •...

"Overall, not a bad experience. A good deal for how affordable it was. It’s dated, but clean. There is a smoky smell, as others have mentioned, but not terrible, unless you’re particularly sensitive. I had to leave early due to a storm, so didn’t actually sleep here, but accommodations looked fine. Pretty spacious for a typical capsule style. It was definitely warm, though. "
