Very clean and the staff could not be more accessible or helpful! I highly recommend Casa Jean Pierre to anybody considering a visit to Viñales.

The room was okay. It was clean, but we didn’t get blankets, and the roof was quite low. The breakfast is not worth the money, there are several good and cheaper restaurants just down the street. The owners were nice, but didn’t offer any tips that wasn’t really “tourist tips” at a tourist price.

Darling casa run by loving locals
Pros: perfectly located--you can walk everywhere in town within minutes, room is brand new and very clean, run by the most lovely family-Maribel and Claudia (her daughter) were so welcoming! They even cleaned our clothes after they were soiled from horseback riding, and loaned us an umbrella. Amazing breakfast every morning! We stayed at upstairs bedroom, very private and felt very safe there. Charming and local feel. Con: very loud at night, A/C unit on the roof ran consistently making sleep hard.

Ottima casa e ristorante!
Abbiamo soggiornato presso Casa Jean Pierre solo una notte. La casa è molto graziosa, pulita e silenziosa e il personale molto gentile! Posizione comoda per passeggiare nella via centrale di Viñales. Da non perdere assolutamente il tapas bar di Jean Pierre, Le 3 Jotas, situato a circa 1 km più avanti nella via principale!!!!

Belle maison , propre et idéalement situé
Trés jolie maison idealement situé à quelques centaines de mètres de la vallée de viñales et du centre de la ville, tout en étant calme. La maison est vraiment trés propre, la chambre vraiment bien. Par contre pour ceux qui souhaitent vivre l'expérience cubaine en dormant dans une casa particular, ce n'est pas la bonne adresse, car j'ai malheureusement eu l'impression de dormir à l'hotel. J'ai passé 3 nuits dans la maison mais je n'ai rencontré qu'une seule fois la propriètaire , Popy, qui est une femme vraiment trés charmante et qui m'a beaucoup touché. Par contre le reste du temps, je n'ai été que brièvement en contact avec ses filles / petites filles avec lesquelles je n'ai eu aucune véritable discussion. C'est d'ailleurs la propriètaire qui m'a dit qu'elles étaient ses (petites) filles. Je pensais au depart qu'elles travaillaient juste dans la maison. Donc pour être au calme, dans une maison propre et bien entretenu : foncez! Mais ce n'est pas une vraie casa particular : aucun lien de créer avec les gérantes de la maison qui ne nous ont même pas racompagné à la porte pour nous dire au revoir.

Stare in famiglia
Esperienza molto positiva, ci siamo innamorati della famiglia che ci ha ospitato, sono persone splendide, ci siamo sentiti parte della loro famiglia. Addirittura si sono presi cura di nostro figlio di un anno per lasciarci andare a fare una gita a cavallo a visitare le piantagioni di tabacco e di caffè e le tante altre meraviglie di Viñales. Marvy oltre ad essere una donna meravigliosa é anche un’eccellente cuoca. Siamo stati soltanto due notti ed in questo breve periodo ci ha conquistati. Potrei stare a parlare di ognuno di loro per ore.. sono tutte bravissime persone. Prenotate da loro e starete benissimo.

Deludente per non dire di peggio.
Ho rinunciato, pur avendo pagato in anticipo, ed ho perso la somma pagata. La camera che mi hanno proposto, che ho stimato sugli 9mq + servizi, era su un terrazzo: una piccola costruzione con 4 muri esterni esposti al sole e coperta direttamente dal tetto, con soffitto alto circa 2 metri e condizionatore che mandava l'aria direttamente sopra il letto matrimoniale addossato da un lato alla parete. Era una giornata afosa e non ce la siamo sentiti di sistemarci in quel buchetto. In effetti, a Vignales molti soffitti sono bassi, ma quello era troppo basso. Ho detto che avrei cercato altrove e quando ho detto che mi ero sistemato all'Hotel Central mi hanno detto che mi potevano dare una camera un po' migliore, ma sempre sul terrazzo. Io avevo già preso e pagato la camera all'hotel e così ho perso 72 euro.

Family feeling at casa JP
We had a great time at the casa JP. The room was clean and kept clean every day. In the morning we enjoyed a nice breakfast with fried eggs, fresh fruit, pancakes and fruit juice. Host Claudia and her grandfather took good care of us and made our stay in Vinales extra enjoyable. The reason I am not recommending the hostal is that everyone has to work out for himself/herself which accomodation suits them to their own needs.The only thing I can do is share my own experience.

The best casa particular in Cuba
Casa Jean Pierre is simply the best casa particular in which we stayed in Cuba. The house is in a nice little street in the amazing Vinales. We could stay in the upper room, that was really nice, cool and clean, with a wonderful patio with rocking chairs and view on mogotes. The breakfast was good and rich. Miraval and Claudia were nice and when we arrived they immediately helped us to arrange our stay in vinales and a incredible horse ride in the valley. We would definitely recommend to stay in Casa Jean Pierre! Thanks for everything Lara&Oscar
