"Clean and tidy but all be it basic room . Food was good innthe evening and the buffet breakfast was a decent standard. Rooms could do with a refresh but they are clean and tidy "

"Proximity to York city centre is great. The rooms heating system did'nt work, but there was an alternative source of warmth in the form of a plug-in heater hidden under the desk masked by a chair."

"Nice area and friendly welcome from the owners. Lot of building work at the rear of the property which was very noisy first thing in the morning which probably worth noting on the website. Property was reasonable but lacking in ventilation as the bedroom window was defective as was the skylight. Overall our stay was fine however if those mentioned shortfalls were addressed it would be a 5 out of 5"

"Well situated for the centre of pocklington and the nice bars and cafes. Also easy access by foot to the wolds. Only slight issue would be the footpath to the side as can sound like someone next door until you realise it. Hosts very welcoming and offered good advice. Also nice to see the workshop"
