We had a great place just up the street from the main beach and found that the central location was a good jumping off point to explore the city. Ferries and buses were excellent so we found this to be very easy. Lots of good eating options in Bondi but we took advantage of the small kitchen to prepare a lot of our meals. "I would highly recommend the Roydon Beachfront Apartments at Trinity Beach as an alternative to downtown hotel living.However, be aware that getting to the property from the airport and returning to the airport is not only expensive but also not always available as a regular service."
