"The room was extremely humid. There was no ventilation in the bathroom / shower. The water was dripping from the windows. The help desk sent an engineering team to check. All they did was turn the heat down to 60s, so the room didn’t feel humid. On a piece of paper they wrote, they fixed the problem. We were offered another room, but given our short stay, and the fact that we were told other rooms were the same, we decided to stay. Hopefully the problem can get fixed for the future guests. "

"Excellent visit overall. The hotel was full and only had 2 elevators working, so it was always a wait for the elevator. Bed and shower were awesome! Walkable to Altria Theatre and downtown restaurants. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! "

"The Berkeley Hotel was such a pleasant surprise! It is lovely and has beautiful, spacious rooms. Very clean and comfortable. Definitely recommend and I would definitely stay there again!! "

"The overall stay was good. The one negative is I had put the Do Not Disturb doorhanger on the outside of the door. I didn't need my room refreshed. It was done anyway. I would have like for that simple request to be followed. For future reference. "

"Quirky kind of place but extremely nice staff and great location. Directly across the street from Penny Lane Restaurant and bar. Bed was comfortable, nice size TV and very clean. Could use a fridge and ice bucket."

"My biggest complaints would be that there were dirty dishes in the cupboards so I ended up washing most of them before using them. There were several lights out or not working in the apartment. The kitchen is very small which is okay but not well pictured in the listing. No extra toilet paper just the single half roll you get when arriving. "The property was as listed, however the key wasn't in the lockbox when we arrived and it took several calls from myself and VRBO customer service to reach the host to inform them of this. We waited an hour for someone to arrive with a key. Parking isnt convenient unless you pay the $15 daily for the lot across the street from the building. The unit was fine, but the bathroom wasn't at the level of cleanliness that I was expecting. There was dust along the floor boards, hair on the tub and sink...
