"I mean for what you pay, I was more upset that I didn’t pay more to stay somewhere better but the breakfast was really good! Only reason why I am not giving 1 star. Our bed covers had brown staining on it on the bottom corner. The shower pressure is really good, however, the water would flood so we had to take the cover out and it’s pretty nasty in there. The bathroom wall had some dirty stuff on there too. The hotel is pretty dingy looking, so it doesn’t help it wasn’t clean. We experienced...

"More of an apartment than a hotel room, with 2 bedrooms, bathroom, sitting room, and even a small kitchen. Courtyard setting was very welcoming. Extremely friendly staff. No food or bar available but you’re welcome to bring in if you wish. Just a few steps from the French Market and 1/2 mile from Jackson Square, but not bothered by any noise from Bourbon Street."

"The Frenchman is a pleasant boutique hotel located on Frenchman Street, which is about 6 blocks away from Bourbon Street. French man street is a mini version of Bourbon street that the locals go to instead. Check it out, you will love it. "

"I have never stayed in a facility where there was no person at the front desk after around 7:00. There was a phone # to call and she showed up in 6 minutes and was ready to help. We enjoyed our stay. It has a small courtyard that is a great place to sit and rest after walking in the French quarter all day. If you have others in your group it would be a great place to gather before the next adventure out."
