Kunugi Relaxation with 4 modern rooms
3.5 star property
10.0 out of 10, Exceptional, (19)
"Staying at Kunugi's was one of highlights of my entire trip to Japan. The hosts are remarkable-so kind, generous and helpful. I felt like I was coming home everyday after a day on the mountain and it was very peaceful at this property and in my cabin. It was unique, very cozy, clean, and I appreciated the kitchen, the washer/dryer combo, all the appliances (heaters, fridge, humidifier, air purifier, towel warmer, soaker tub, and the 3 onsens! I booked an extra day and I'm so glad I did. I...

Rosen Heim HAKUBA
3.0 star property
8.6 out of 10, Excellent, (57)
"One of the less expensive places to stay that I could find. Good value for the price. Helpful, friendly staff - they sorted my ticket for the gondola / lift pass at Tsugaike Kogen, and shuttle bus. Clean (even though a little older). 10 min. walk to Happo-one bus station and dining options. Great breakfast buffet."

9.0 out of 10, Wonderful, (168)
"We loved our stay at the Hakuba Marriott! It had a great gym, the in room onsen was perfect after a day on the slopes and the staff were so friendly. It was walkable to the main drag and provides a shuttle to the ski resorts right out front. It was nice to come back and enjoy a drink at the bar after dinner. We cannot wait to stay here again!"

Courtyard by Marriott Hakuba
Hotel de La Neige
5.0 star property
9.6 out of 10, Exceptional, (132)
"I stayed here couple weeks ago, I like the environment and comfort and quiet place, the manager and staff are great and friendly, that’s the reason why I came back. The manager upgrade me to a room with Jaguzzi. Sadly is the air conditional is abit old , doesn’t cool up the room quick, but it still fine. The hotels room definitely needs a proper upgrade as there is many wear and tear and air conditional need an overhaul too. Wallpaper has to be clean as you can see some stains. "

"the man running the place is just lovely. he spoke the best english of anyone we met while in japan for two weeks and was super friendly. every morning the breakfast was a little different, he drove us to the bus station at the end of our trip, and he was always available for questions and advice. the private onsen (hot tub) was excellent after a day on the slopes and all in all it had a more bed and breakfast vibe. it’s a 10 minute walk to echoland (restaurants) and a 20 minute bus ride to...
