"This is a little local gem of a hotel. Built in the 70's, I would guess that the carved pineapple lamps are original. Tucked away near the airport, it is clean and neat; no big amenities, but the staff is incredibly friendly, and you can park in front of your ground floor room, which makes it so easy! Yes, you might feel like you stepped back in time 50 years, but I wouldn't trade a stay here for anything in Waikiki. "
