"Loved the resort, had a great time and definitely would stay again. As others have mentioned, the beach has eroded, but there are great beaches nearby. The ferry to Cozumel is only a 20 minute walk and there were plenty of activities each day from dance parties to silent discos to volleyball. "We had a decent experience staying at the Royal Haciendas. The food is good especially the Asian fusion restaurant. But be aware it is really hard to get a table there as it is always fully booked. The beach is non existent don’t come here if you planning to spend time on the beach. A big portion of the beach has been claimed by the ocean and the resort has been left with a little to almost no beach. That small beach area is not maintained at all. "
