Travelodge UK in Poole Keynes

"Always a treat to stay at Tortworth Court so we thought we’d treat ourselves before Christmas. We stayed on Sunday 22nd December snd had lunch with Dsnta even though we have no kids. The food was excellent especially as there was such large crowds. Then the Chase Fireworks. We worried the hotel would be trashed by do many people walking in the mud then coming inside but the hotel was impeccable the falling day. Amazing "

"Even though being renovated, this stay was perfect. Staff so friendly and helpful, fabulous breakfast, lovely twin room and a nice pub The Clock Tower literally on the doorstep. Would definitely stay again, the Spa and staff were also lovely and I can highly recommend the Back Massages. "

"This was our first visit as my daughter and I usually travel every six weeks from London to Hereford by train but will definitely review our travel plans and stay again now that we know you offer fantastic value for money. Your receptionist was helpful, polite and friendly and upon arrival instantly gave us the feeling she really wanted us to enjoy our stay. The whole hotel felt as though it was new and that included our room and bed which meant we had a great sleep. I don’t know the last time I have stayed in a hotel which has provided a free gym with leisure facilities and will definitely return and tell everyone we know. "We weren't expecting much from this hotel but were pleasantly surprised. The room was excellent value for money and was nicer than anticipated. Yes, this is an older hotel and it shows in places, but everything was clean and tidy. We booked a twin Premium room which had nice extras such as robes & slippers provided. The twin beds were almost touching which was fine for us as we're good friends but perhaps would be a bit weird if you were sharing with a colleague, for example. We had problems with the aircon not staying on for more than a couple of minutes. Not a big problem in December - we just opened a window - but I imagine would be very uncomfortable in the summer months. There were a few other niggles - there was a coffee machine in the room but no coffee pods supplied and we only received one pack of complimentary biscuits (so 3 custard creams to share between the two of us). The bathroom is quite small but fine for a single person at a time. The shower is a walk-in style enclosure with pleasant complimentary toiletries (shower gel, shampoo and conditioner). I found the shower pressure a little weak. The pool and gym are both quite small but adequate for a short stay. The pool was clean and warm - unfortunately the hot tub was out of order. All of the staff were very welcoming and we genuinely felt welcome here. I will look forward to staying again."
