"Property is facing the river and the promenade, which is a nice aspect of the city. The hotel is across the water from the Guggenheim in Bilbao, and the stunning Zubizari bridge is directly outside the hotel. The rooms could be a bit better maintained as noticeable damage to the walls (scuff marks that need painting over) and the wood paneling (suitcases clearly knicked the wood paneling in my room), and the toilet paper holders are installed at 8 degree angle for some reason. "The hotel shuttle service starts at 5:00am and runs every 30 minutes which is very helpful for early flights. We dropped our rental car at the airport the night before and took the shuttle to the hotel. This was a good idea because there is very limited parking at the hotel."

"This is an excellent hotel for so many things. It is in the old part of the city which is lovely and you can drive to it and park nearby without having to enter the Low Emission Zone of Bilbao. But at the same time it's right across the bridge from the "new" city, and a 20 minute walk to the Guggenheim and 30 minute walk to the ITSA Maritime Museum. "

"The hotel and my room was spotless, so clean. 5 minute walk from Estacon Intermodal de Bilbao, which is the main bus station, where you can catch busses to the airport and other cities / towns in Spain.
