"I like the fact that they served authentic Jamaican food as an option everyday , food overall was good .The hotel was very clean , room was clean .They responded to request and concern very promptly. What I didn’t like is that staff need to be more efficient especially in dinning area , on several occasions I had to be looking for a server to give us water or juice at the table ,their was also no napkin at one point and I had to ask the server twice for napkin a mean how can you set a table with nothing for us to wipe our hands , other wise the property was good , service was great I would give them a 8 out of 10 . Great place for family trip .very conveniently located , less than 10 minutes from Dunns river , mystic mountain and dolphin cove if you want to do excursions."

"This was my second stay at Villa Sonate. My first stay was so wonderful I was glad to return. The grounds are beautifully maintained. The rooms are clean, comfortable and have nice furnishings. Each room has its own veranda with 2 chairs and a table. I enjoyed sitting outside to read. The housekeeping staff is great. Everyone at Villa Sonate is welcoming and helpful. The cooks prepare delicious and satisfying Jamaican breakfasts and made sure to accommodate my meat and gluten-free diet. Another wonderful stay!"

"We had a lovely time at Cardiff Hotel. The place was clean, and the staff were courteous and helpful. We had hot delicious breakfast every morning of different local foods. We got complementary water and juices every other day. Free beach shuttle took us to the beach. We enjoyed our stay and would go again. I would recommend this hotel to my friends and family. JB"
