"This property was lovely. The design and ambiance of the hotel is terrific. From exceptional bed linens and towels, and room controls that get the lighting and blinds just right- this is the stay for you. Room amenities included actual China and table wear for those snacks in your room. The location to the train station was handy. If you’re not taking the train, Kyoto station offers a 7-11, a fabulous department store, and a few floors of exceptional restaurants to choose from. The staff was outstanding- all friendly and willing to go above and beyond to make your stay memorable. The gym was one of the best equipped facilities I have seen in years. The breakfast buffet was great, and do yourself a favour… if you’re a westerner- experience their Japanese breakfast at least once because they do it well. Lastly, the large interactive stair case in the lobby is quite delightful in the evening."

"Great big 43sqm family rooms close to Aquarium and railway museum ( which is one of best in the world ) Only one stop from Kyoto station and only 4 min undercover walk covered to station, however that JR service only comes every 15 min We did airbnb in other cities, so sure if that’s how it is all over Japan but I found it odd that hotel had zero leaflets on things to do in Kyoto The room was very comfortable The onsen was great after long day walking Breakfast buffet was very good epically with kids The washing room facilities need improvement by having seperate washer to drier as many guests were upset waiting to wash clothes They gave us 40k voucher to use on restaurants in complex and the wagu bbq beef was a lovely restaurant "

"Got there early Room wasn’t ready so I stayed open area lobby. There’s few people were waiting for to check in. Around 2:30p some people came and checked in so I went there to ask if room is ready to check in and he said yes. Why he couldn’t let us know who is waiting in lobby area for rooms. "

"Nice central location that’s just walking distance from the main areas. Easy to find, lots of transport options and friendly staff. Nice big rooms and clean. However room cleaning was a miss for us as after we put the clean sign up. While room was cleaned and beds made, for some reason the empty water bottles we put aside were not taken away. Eventually day 4 of our stay it was taken away. Other than that great hotel and will come back! "

"Such a great property. We enjoyed the hot springs and the ramen at night. We loved the ice cream nightly too. The breakfast was very expansive and great food. The bed was too firm for us but the room was so quiet. Highly recommend. "
