"The hotel and service was excellent, the room was cozy, the bathroom was a little odd with a full window looking into the room really no privacy and it was disappointing to book a room in the beautiful city of Chicago and then be told the balcony door needed to be locked so we weren't able to enjoy the view, we picked the hotel for the view it would've been nice to at least have a window to look out of or been told ahead of time to possibly have a different option. "If there is an opportunity to offer 1/2 stars, I would give this property another 1/2 star (4.5 total). The tiny anomalies about accommodations are sometimes the ones that leave the most lasting impression. In this case, it was the shower. Yes, the shower itself worked. But since the shower faucet handle was not screwed to the shower (it came away readily), it also meant having to adjust the temperature with each use.
