"Lavern’s Place was the perfect for my Ocho Rios trip. It’s super clean, safe, and located in a quiet area just a walk away from downtown and the beach. I went for a morning jog and felt totally at ease — even passed kids on their way to school. The AC worked great and the views from the room were a bonus, including the nice pool! The host was great too, everything we needed. Would definitely stay again!"

"I never got to stay at this property, although my credit card was billed to stay at this property. I was redirected to another motel (Sandcastle Resort) in the area due to no availability. The hotel I was redirected to was clearly not aware of my reservation or my presence. Nothing in the room was prepared for guest arrival. "We stayed at Frank’s property for three days with my husband and teenage daughter, and it was a wonderful experience. Upon arrival, we found that the property looked exactly like the pictures—modern, airy, bright, and impeccably clean. The apartment was well-equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay, including towels, blankets, a super cold A/C, kitchenware, and more.
While I had read some complaints about evening noise in the courtyard, it wasn't an issue for us. Frank has no control over that area, but honestly, the noise was minimal and didn't bother us at all. The apartment is located on Main Street in a lively area, where you can enjoy the vibrant city sounds and soak in the great atmosphere.
Ms. Shelly, the onsite property manager, was an absolute delight. She greeted us warmly, provided all the necessary information for our stay, and was quick to accommodate any requests we had.
Overall, I would definitely book this property again!"
"The property was like being home. The owner Charmaine was very accommodating and everything you may need was already in the property. There was stairs to climb because it is the penthouse. lol. So be mindful if you can’t do steps at all. I have bad knees but it was doable. There were maintenance there that helped with out luggage when we arrived. There’s around the clock security. And you’re near the main strip but there is walking but again not bad. But that’s what you do in JA. I normally stay at all inclusive resorts but I also enjoy the freedom of being on vacation but also feeling at home. This property was it. The swim up bar was also a plus and they served light food there as well. Highly recommend this property everyone was nice and accommodating. They even had a floaty at the pool for the kids. Family friendly as well as a girls trip. Thanks again Charmaine. "
