"Good location on Upper West Side -- easy sfe walks to 72nd and 79th IRT stations. Lincoln Center also an easy 15' or less walk. Fairway Supermarket across on Broadway and Trader Joes just a couple blocks down so one can take advantage of room kitchenette if you wish (and it was decently stocked in terms of utensils and pots and pans). "The hotel is unique in decor. It is older, but very clean and antique decor. I loved it. We were pleasantly surprised to get a larger room. Very close to Central Park and Museum across the street. Also subway is close. We walked to the theatre district for a play. I was so happy to find that cleaning staff found my wallet. I had left it in the safe and staff had given it to the office.
