"We had a fantastic stay at Hotel Rigel in Venice on the Lido. The rooms were comfortable and pleasant, the breakfast was great, and the location was perfect for exploring both the Lido and Venice itself. However, the real highlight of our stay was the incredible staff, particularly Marco M. Every evening, he went above and beyond to make us feel welcome, always with a smile and a warm, friendly manner. "Really enjoyed our time there. Loved the smiles and service that the stafff gave. Made us cappucinnos which was good quality in the morning. It is in Lido (last ferry stop) so it's situated far from touristy areas, if you like that. The room like most Italian budget friendly stays are small but adequate. There seems to be a bit of slant on the flooring, a little uneven, but it did not affect our sleep. "

"The property is beautiful and the room was amazing. Very clean with housekeeping meeting our every need. The staff at the Front Desk cannot do enough for you, they are AMAZING, and feel like family. The staff in the breakfast room provide the best breakfast anywhere, and their attention to detail is exceptional. This is my favorite hotel ANYWHERE!!!!!! I can't wait to go back each year.
