"The food is pricy but worth it. The pizza is a must to get. Bring your own pillow. Be prepared for noise and kids everywhere. Very family friendly hotel but still some good areas for adults to mingle. The water slides/pool areas are very nice and clean. All of the staff is super friendly. Go early if you don’t want to fight over a tube for rides. "

"It was such an ideal place to stay for my business trip. I needed to be close to the convention center and it was only a scenic 8 min walk past the Alamo, through a mall and along the Riverwalk. I couldn’t have asked for a better location and stay."

"Our stay at Sonesta ES in Downtown S.A. was excellent. This is the best hotel we have ever stayed in at this price, by far. Hot breakfast included. We will recommend this hotel to all of our friends and family. the remodel is super nice and it's only a 5 minute walk to the Alamo and just a couple of more minutes to the River walk.
