"great hotel very special location"

"Japanese style room was really large, very comfortable and clean. Beautiful view of the valley. Staff were friendly. The onsen was uncrowded and clean, very peaceful in the forest. Breakfast was a bit chaotic but the staff did their best to keep it flowing. The lobby bar has good cocktails and a professional bartender. Overall definitely recommend as a “home base” for the Hakone round course/freepass. "

"It's a great hotel. Our room had a private hot spring tub with a view of the river. Convenient location with short walk to tram which connects to "Ropeway" cable cars. The restaurant is excellent."

"Cannot recommend this place enough. Wish we stayed more than 1 night! free ice cream vending machine and lovely onsens that switch between men and women each day that are both gorgeous. "The room is gorgeous with spacious living room. We enjoyed everything, from onsen, kitchen island and the dining area. This is a perfect hotel for relax and enjoying. The only drawback is that there's not much nearby. Also a little unsafe walking from the station, as the hotel is located along the curve road with cars and trucks approaching fast. We ended of calling cab every time since returned in the evening. "
