"My husband and I visited Lake Shoji for the first time in January. It was a rainy day when we checked in so we could not see Fuji San, but the warm welcome we received made up for the lack of view, even before we checked in, a very very kind employee helped us back into our parking spot. He also took our luggage in to the lobby. The desk employee was very kind and was willing to work with our limited Japanese. The owner even gave us a cup of tea and chocolates when we first arrived they also...

"Really nice place, big could fit 4/6 people easy. There was only two of us so we had lots of space. Location was decent. About 15/20min nice walk from mt fuji station. You get your own private indoor hot tube,you have to fill it yourselves,theres a hob fridge and microwave. Also really nice views of Mt fuji. We would stay here again "

"Surprisingly the room was very large! I enjoyed sleeping on the foldable foam mats on the tatami mats. Despite the old look of the lobby, the room was very clean and looked like it was renovated. Downside was that the area did not have lots of food options (and only opened for lunch and dinner times). It seemed like a ghost town! However, the hotel was close to a train station and 711. The owner/receptionist was very helpful"
