"Love the hotel. It is an old building so it doesn't have the sterile environment that modern buildings have, but it has a charm that can't be beat. The bed wasn't very comfortable, though. I can overlook that in view of the charm, location, the hard work of the cleaning lady. I'd stay there again if I go back to San Juan. 15-minute walk to the port. 3-minute walk to the red gate and the path that leads below and around the fortress.
