"When staying in Old San Juan, we always stay at El Convento. It's absolutely centrally-located and easy walking distance to everything. However, also far enough from the main plazas that it is quiet in the evenings. The staff are friendly and go out of their way to accommodate. A BIG thank you to Jesus, our favorite bartender! "Our butler Jean Claude was wonderful. Honestly everyone on staff was wonderful and I wish I could remember names but it really was every staff member we encountered. They were always friendly and welcoming. The extra care in decorating the room for my birthday was just another happy memory I have from our stay here. I’m so grateful for all of them. My only complaints about the resort is some minor areas where I noticed things needed repair and there were some bad smells coming from the bathroom...

"Seven is a beautiful property… very friendly staff for the most part. We didn’t find them as friendly at the beach front bar and restaurant called the Deck. We didn’t like that we had to go get a beach chair set up at 7 am if we wanted front row. We thought the resort needed to play some nice music around the pool area. We would definitely stay again despite those few issues. "
