"Arrived before check in time so was told to come back at 3:00. They did store our luggage while we went sightseeing. Arrived back at 4:30 and our room was still not ready. Not sure how this was possible as check out time was 11:00 and we had already shown up once trying to check in. We were tired from walking around and it was cold out (30s) so we didn't want to leave again. We were finally able to check in around 4:45. They did waive the resort fee for the inconvenience. "Small, clean, efficient place to stay convenient to midtown manhattan. It is loud but what else would you expect in midtown manhattan. The location feels very safe and despite the name of the hotel, rooms are private and there is even a lounge area with water, tea and coffee in the morning. Great for the price. "

Only thing that was eh was a rude women employee, presumably manager on the roof top bar around 11pm 1/18. We were told by the desk that the bar would be open later as it was busy.
