"The staff hospitality is wonderful!!!! The rooms were nice and very clean. We had a hot water issue that they tried to fix. The resort reopened the day we arrived and there were still buildings being renovated so it was a bit noisy. The grounds are unbelievably beautiful but the beach area is still being rebuilt. Food was okay, drinks were great! Again, the staff is beyond wonderful!"

"We had an incredibly long wait for our room, but once it was ready, the team did everything they could to make up for it! "At first, I didn't think my friends and I would like that there aren't sailboats, paddle boards, etc, but the snorkeling made up for it. We enjoyed watching the cruise ships coming/going. Much smaller hotel than we've stayed at before, but we really liked the more personal feel from the staff. I had seen reviews about the noise from construction. That is only during the day, and we didn't hear it on the beach or restaurant. We will definitely return"

"Main reason for the ratings is that the property was undergoing various forms of renovations and construction. That process started around 8 AM and went till around 6 PM Mon to Fri. Basically there was no quiet place inside the main property during that time. Otherwise, the property met my needs, the staff was helpful and friendly, and it was located in a good area closer to the cruise ship terminal area then actual city, which is generally a better area to be. "
