"Perfect location near San Marco. Excellent spot to watch the gondoliers, and centrally located. Staff were very helpful. Room was extremely clean and the daily housekeeping was very efficient. Good AC. I was in a small single room and it was on the 4th floor with no elevator for the last two floors but it was just fine for me. Some minor quibbles: not a lot of common space to hang out in, and the breakfast was not the best quality but it was fine."

"Overall we had an enjoyable stay. Both Sinks in the bathroom had missing plugs to stop water draining away. Hot water had to be adjusted. Blind didn’t work in the bathroom. Breakfast was ok, bacon generally undercooked and the Parmesan was too smelly and needed a cloche to stop flies. Staff very approachable. Location good and the shuttle fantastic. "

"Good hotel in the heart of Venice. Air conditioning was fantastic, which was a relief after the last two hotels we stayed in. The free breakfast was simple, but very much appreciated. Only nitpicks - There were a few minor things that needed fixing in the bathroom and don't ask the hotel staff for restaurant recommendations. They refused to recommend any restaurant other that the one owned by the hotel owner even when we said we were staying muliple nights."

"We loved this experience! An elegant old art nouveau facade with modern interior design and Hollywood touches (Venice Film Festival is conducted down the street).
