Staff very friendly and helpful . Room was kept very clean . Bed very comfortable , linen kept clean and in good condition. Without an elevator the stairwell is challenging because there is no handrail and quite dark . Other than that I would stay there again as the location is great for getting around town .

The hotel has stopped using elevator and guests need to climb up to the rooms. Loud due to adjacent bar until 3 AM Stairs have no hand rails for safety. Parking garage is extremely small. If you use it ask for help. Location is excellent. Quality of food below average is the fife different restaurants we went. Playa Del Mar is nice but prices are way too higher than California

We were there for 2 nights and we are very thankful with the staff that helped us change rooms on our second night. On our first night they gave us room 101 and it was just terrible, this room is not fit to be rented and should just be torn down, we could hear hard sounds of water coming down the pipes all night and it was impossible to sleep, this combined with all the noise and music coming in from the outside it was just awful, we did not sleep the first night, it was just impossible. Thank God that on our second night we were given different rooms and they were better and we are very thankful with the staff for this assistance.

Overall we had a good stay. Good location, clean, nice staff. The parking is underground and difficult/tide to access it. But safe to keep your car. The bathroom plumbing makes noises every time some else in other rooms uses it. The bathroom door made a loud noise every time you close it. Due to the proximity to the 5 Avenue you can hear the loud music. But the business starts to close after 12pm some days and others are opened after midnight. If you are a light sleeper the location is not good. For us was nice to be able to walk to the beach, restart, etc.

I was so unsatisfied and upset with this hotel that out of my 5 night stay I ended up staying 1 night and asked for a refund for the other 4! (I had to book a last min hotel nearby) So I didn't get the room I booked through Expedia, they gave me a 1 bed when I had booked a 2 double bed, we were a family of 4. As soon as you walk in the room it's HOT inside - they don't turn the AC on for you prior to your arrival, and please keep in mind it's Playa del Carmen= heat & Humidity at high levels!! They only provide ONE roll of toilet paper so if you run out you have to wait until they clean your room or you can ask the front desk. Not enough towels!!! And the showers are built a little weird that water comes out and wets the floor. Also the sink is built weird so expect water to drip out from the bottom. The rooms are smaller than what is show in the pic, and the lighting is veryyyy dim in the rooms! Just be careful when booking this property, if you're looking for a couple honeymoon thing I guess it could work? But if it were me there are nicer hotels at roughly the same price. Definitely not family friendly, and last but not least THERE IS NO ELEVATOR. We got a room on the 3rd floor and we had quite a few luggage, so it was a pain...I wish I would have read the reviews. I'm so not a negative person, but this time I truly had to write this review because it was just too much. Hope my review helps.

Hotel esta en una buena ubicacion. Hubieron algunas fallas por ejemplo desde el primer dia preguntamos por el servicio de internet nos dieron la clave pero las 6 noches que estuvimos nunca funciono dia tras dia preguntabamos y nos daban la misma repuesta que venia a reparar cuando ellos si tenian servicio en recepcion.Incluso le pregunte a otros huespedes que llevaban mas tiempo hospedandose y la respuesta fue la misma para ellos. Deberian ser mas sinceros por que personas viajamos y trabajamos remotamente y necesitamos de una buena red wifi.tuve que salir a buscar internet en otras localidades!Aparte esto el servicio al cuarto no fue el mejor las toallas eran cambiadas cada 3 dias si no las pedias.Espero puedan mejorar por que el hotel queda en una buena area segura.

Super disappointing. I booked two nights to stay here in May. When I arrived the place was under reconstruction for the pool and no facilities were available- NO POOL in summer! I expressed my disappointment and the manager said he will refund me 1 night if I stay one night. I agreed and gave them a hand written complaint AND my bank details. I have been chasing the refund for the second night for months!! Now they are ignoring my messages and I haven’t received anything. Do not stay here.

Pool was being worked on for most of our stay and although there is an elevator they do not allow usage of it. We had to carry lots of luggage to the 3rd and 4th floor. Due to the mishap of the pool we were offered rooms with Jacuzzis so that was nice. Do not recommend this hotel for older people as there is a nightclub next door and the music is blasting until about 3 am, it didn’t bother us but I could see it being a nuisance to other people. Location is awesome as it is literally right next door to La Quinta Avenida. Overall had a good stay, and staff was friendly.

El hotel es muy bonito, vivimos la experiencia del huracán dentro de y todo bien recomiendo la habitación deluxe por el tamaño, la habitación sencilla es muy pequeña, Flor fue con nosotros muy amable, los pasillos tenían un olor un poco desagradable y eso le da mala imagen al hotel sin embargo es un lugar acogedor dónde puedes encontrar privacidad y está a un paso de la quinta avenida, los productos de limpieza como shampoo y acondicionador son increíbles, deberían tener a la venta esos productos, sin duda recomiendo este lugar si van unos tres o cuatro días.
