"Amazing beachfront with excellent staff and wonderful variety of food and drinks! The buffet restaurants were excellent. We tried all standalone restaurants and we liked the Mediterranean, Italian, and Japanese restaurants. The mini jungle was a pleasant surprise with many different animals wandering the forest. "The staff, Mich and Josh, were excellent! They were very accommodating and helpful. I remember struggling with the parking. The parking meters only accept coins which we didnt have at that time. Josh generously lent us money and Mich even came out to explain to us how it works. These things made a big impact to our impression of the place - easier to let go of minor things. Overall, this place for the price is great. "

"The rooms we had was very large with a large living area and basic kitchen amenities. The bedroom was also large with a huge bathroom and plenty of storage space. The only shortfall was the rooftop pool and bar. The pool seemed neglected and was green on 2 days we were there. There were only 4 lounge chairs, 2 of which were not usable due to ripped bed and when we asked for an umbrella they finally found 1 that wasn't broken on the 3'rd try. We are hoping that the fact they were updating the...

"We had a wonderful stay at the Riu Playacar and look forward to returning soon. The room was clean, comfortable, and had perfect air conditioning to retreat to from the heat outside. House keeping was on top of everything and always provided fresh towels and bed turn down. Breakfast and lunch buffets were our favourite and so delicious. There are good options around the resort for food and drinks. Enjoyed our trip and wish we could have stayed longer!"
