"The distance from most of the restaurants in Avalon resulted in the ideal balance between walkability and peacefulness. Staff was great. Room was not modern and was nothing fancy, but that doesn't matter to me and the hotel/room had everything I needed. Pro tip: T-Mobile gets virtually no service on the island; make sure to take advantage of the remarkably speedy and reliable hotel wifi and preload your maps."
