"Barcelo maya was everything we wanted. The beach was absolutely beautiful. But the main reason i chose this resort was for the snorkling right off the beach. It did not dissapoint. It was absolutely beautiful with coral and fish and sea turtles all in their natural environment. My son and i would definitely come here again."

"Stayed here for a week and loved it! The buffet is great, and the restaurants are amazing!!!! I went to the gym everyday, and it's a gym! The pools & bars are great too. Lines at the bar can sometimes be a little long and they could use a 2nd bartender to jump in during those times. But, it wasn't too bad. Our room was really great too. A BIG shout out to Antonio, one of the entertainment staff! He was so wonderful and would stop every to chat with us! And, another big shout out to Aure, one of the waitress at the buffet. She was sweet and attentive and would have our drinks for us before we even asked! This is my 2nd time to this resort, and I'd go again!"

"We absolutely loved TRS Yucatán! The hospitality is by far the greatest and the resort is amazing! The beach is spectacular and the resort has so many beautiful pools and lots to do! The restaurants are plentiful, the only downside is the food is a hit or miss at times. Some restaurants are great while others are a bit lacking. Would definitely return and stay here again! Had an absolutely amazing trip! The staff is absolutely incredible and helped us with our every need! We love this place and can’t wait to go back soon! "

"I liked that the layout and style of the buildings. Only 3 stories high made it feel more secluded and not like a big resort complex. Also, the architecture looks more traditional to the area than some of those big resort complexes. Being on the beach was a plus in addition to the 2 pools. The grounds were beautiful and very well maintained. "

"I’ve been to many resorts and this was by far the most amazing property! The food and choices are great! There are so many trails, pools, and things to do. It is a very large and spread out property so if you’re looking for everything in a small area this isn’t the place for you. We loved that there was so many different areas. Only down fall is the beach. It’s a small sand beach surrounded by rocks. There was a lot of sea grass on the beach as well. BUT! It was still a nice beach with good snorkeling right off the beach! Highly recommend!"
