"Great location. Walking distance from the Kuranda Scenic railway station and the boat rides to the Great barrier reef. Also walking distance from the Cairns city center. Lots of great dining options close by. The hotel offered a hot breakfast for a very low price for guests. Great views of the ocean from the hotel room balcony. Had a great experience. "

"Wonderful stay. Hotel rooms were clean and comfortable bed with two different pillow options (soft and firm) being from Melbourne we really appreciated the aircon being efficient, so much so we needed to turn it down down at night so it wasn’t so chilly! The pool was absolutely lovely! Could use a few more sun beds. What made the hotel experience even better was the friendly staff! Everyone was so lovely and efficient, always had a smile. The happy hour drinks were great. Food was so yummy and nice big sizes, especially for the two salads on the menu, was very full after which doesn’t happen often for salads! We will certainly be returning! Thank you Harbourside Hotel! "
