"The location was away from the town and other facilities so having transport is essential. The room was OK but not spacious. The breakfast did not have a lot of variety for the western palate and did not seem to change. Staff were helpful."

The hotel restaurants were not the best but they had plenty to choose from with even more options next door. Definitely enjoyed the fact that the lifts were literally right outside. "It is located near the Ainu village. There is only one main street selling souvenirs and a watson store. There is a path around lake Akan that you can stroll on. That is about 20 minutes walk from the hotel. The onsen on the eight floor was beautiful overlooking the lake akan, but i did not get to use it. They have funky system, odd days women use eight floor. The men use the basement onsen. On even day it’s reversed. The onsen on the basement is still good. The dinner and breakfast...
