"Overall, the accomodation has very basic offerings. To enter the house, we have to go through the reception to go to the back of the house. The rooms are on 2nd floor so we had to bring the luggages up and down a flight of narrow stairs. Its a problem when the luggage is big and bulky. We stayed here 1 night so it was not a big deal for us. Great for short stays and not for fussy guests."

"Exceptional hospitality, food, and amenities - It's a highlight of our trip. When we arrived at property, almost entire staff greeted us on the street by the entrance. Kaiseki meals were wonderful. The second floor recreation room was a happy place to be -Zen garden view, delicious snacks, drinks, and late night soup... The rooms were clean and spacious. "Very big hotel with open calm spaces to relax and enjoy music and a buffet of coffee tea and small snacks - felt like I could really unwind. Just a small note that English is not a language the staff speaks, so need to brush up on a little Japanese or rely on those Google translators ! But all are eager to please, and it’s a pleasure to experience the politeness and customer care of their culture. Their dinners are very authentic and delicious.
