"Great overnight stay with pub below. Friendly & helpful staff, & good food & drinks in pub.
Stayed in family room which was big, with comfortable beds & squeaky clean en-suite bathroom. Would recommend & definitely a bargain price. "
"Check-in was complicated as e-mail warning of the £50 up-front deposit and need for photo ID was sent to junk mail.
Parking is advertised as included in the price, when it’s available on a first come, first served basis and there are only TWO spaces!
Bed was not comfortable, only 1 pillow and that felt like resting your head on a patio slab!!
On the plus side it was exceptionally cheap and I guess you get what you pay for. "
"We were moved to another hotel which house refugee's & other’s that had two 24 hr security guards. Why? So really felt unsafe.
We had two gentlemen follow us in a car? Why?
This should not be allowed, we should of been told & words cannot express the frighteningly terrible experience."
"Booked at Britannia, stayed before and good, moved to Lucky 8 due room mtce probs - sister hotel great; restful, comfortable sleep, appreciate the toiletries and tea/coffee etc. Ilford high st is nearby, great choice of cuisine and shops. Parking for me was great, had a space all days, quiet neighbourhood."
