"The room and hotel were very very clean and were very comfortable and good size. Staff were very friendly. It was near metro station and with a short walk you could reach Times Square. The only complaint that we had was about the heating noise. "

"I was drawn to this location due to convenient proximity to the ballet and the rooftop lounge in the summer. A plus that the Empire is featured in one of my favorite shows (Gossip Girl). However, as a young woman who travels alone I would prefer if the elevators required room keys for access as an added layer of security, even though the UWS and Lincoln Center is generally a very safe place to stay"
