"Stayed here with a friend for a New Year’s hiking getaway. This was the perfect location and setup. The room was spacious, clean, and accommodating. Check-in experience was smooth and easy, and above-and-beyond friendly and welcoming! (The host even gave us a spare toothbrush when we forgot). I’ve stayed in many of the other inns/motels in Pacific Grove, and as far as value and enjoyment for price, this was by far the best experience. We’d highly recommend! "

"Clean rooms, great bedding and the fireplace was a nice touch. Would come back and request a room in a different building with better view. 5 mins from beach in car, about 20 min walk. Only bag breakfast which was a bummer, since I paid extra for continental and that isn’t offered there. Don’t upgrade "

"They let a dog sneak in who barked all night. Other than that it was nice. The rooms are very small. No dresser or any way to lay out your cloths. There is an armoire if you want to hang up your socks. You have to live out of your suitcase. They do offer a free nightly glass of wine. Very nice sitting in the parlor. "

"Very charming Victorian centrally located to everything in Pacific Grove. Pacific Grove is an extremely safe community but extra safe when you're across the street from the Police Department! Check-in was a breeze, room was spacious and clean. We stayed in a premium Queen which had a small seperate room with a single twin bed that gave everyone a bit more privacy. Perfect for working late on my computer while my kid slept. This hotel only had about 6 units, so it was really quiet and peaceful in a beautiful area. Loved the shared full size refrigerator in common area where you leave a post-it with your room # on your items :)"
