" I really need to heap glowing praise on Lotus Boutique, Hanoi. I selected this hotel based on the positive review of the staff as well as its location. Right from the warm greeting from Anna at reception, who personally showed me to the room to the other desk staff who were always ready for a genuine chat. The breakfast is filling to say the least and the staff would almost have my morning coffee and scrambled eggs ready as I walked in. The hotel is about 750m from the lake and the whole area is alive with activity, but the hotel is very personal. Love staying at this place."

"We stayed here for 5 nights but very early check-in (06.00am), staff are very helpful and prompt response to our questions during booking and requested. During our stay Jimmy and Alex again very helpful recommend places to go where to eat including transportation assist. Room are clean, BF great, easy to go around Hanoi, we have 0 complaint about this hotel. After we left, we forgot some money in hotel safe box, once again staff very helpful transferred money back to our account. Highly recommend, 5 Star with big thank you from us. We will back there for sure. "

"The location is convenient for transportation and shopping. It faces the main street, which is also convenient. Most of the last years staff left in this summer, which was inconvenient, but the old staff have returned. The layout of the reception has changed, which is a little inconvenient. Strangely, there are carp laid out at the entrance, but since it is not a biotope, I don't think they will last for many years."

"The people at Splendid is what makes it a special place. Customer service was five star and could be compared to some of the top end hotels of the world. In fact, better than most five stars hotels that I have stayed in like the JW Marriott and Taj. Fantastic location in the old quarter. The rooms are nice and roomy but the bathroom was not as nice one would get in a four star hotel. Overall package and the price point makes it a very compelling choice "
