Best San Jose Historic Hotels

Hayes Mansion, San Jose - Curio Collection by Hilton

4.0 star property
8.4 out of 10, Very good, (1005)
"I’ve been coming here since 2020! I just love the hotel! Everyone is so sweet and welcoming! Easy check in as well! Downside is you can’t access to more than Netflix and YouTube on the tv so that sucks. I’d recommend bringing a laptop for entertainment. The pool and jacuzzi is really nice! The menu at the restaurant changes every month so be aware of that! I loved their strawberry dulce de lece cake they served on VDay! So good! Must be a permanent dessert please!!"

The Westin San Jose

4.0 star property
8.6 out of 10, Excellent, (1006)
"no parking available/provided by hotel, would have booked with other properties. $51 a day via Valet only is reasonable for some, but not for most. other than that, stay is great, no lock on bathroom door is kind of unpleasant, especially in a double queen bed room that is usually shared with 3 others."

Hotel De Anza

4.0 star property
8.4 out of 10, Very good, (1006)
"Great overnight stay for a concert. Walking distance to S.A.P was a huge factor. Customer service was great. Room was great, except that the description said city veiw, which i kinda had in the livingroom, but the bedroom window overlooked the rooftop of the garage. The other thing was that there was no ice on any floor. Had to go downstairs, but the front desk was kind enough to get me some ice from the bar. A little inconvenient but not a deal breaker. Overall would definitely stay again...

"The staff was excellent! So friendly and helpful. My only criticism is that the bed was so soft. I could’ve switched rooms, but I figured all the beds would be that soft …seriously way too soft."

Arena Hotel

2.5 star property
6.0 out of 10, (1003)
"Reserved and paid 2 months in advance. Arrive for check in and the parking lot was empty and there was a handwritten "closed for business" sign. Attempted to contact the property of course were unsuccessful. No notice, no refund. Further research showed the property was actually sold last year to the city and is no longer a hotel. Not sure why I was allowed to make a reservation in the 1st place."

"I actually thought this room was very accommodating and the room was nice,.clean, and up to date. It was quiet and secure. Even though staff wasn't all that friendly, they monitored who came in and out of the parking lot. Overall I would probably stay again, especially for the affordable price."
