"1.There is a discrepancy with the checkin time shown on Hotels.com as being 1pm. We arrived shortly before 1 pm, but was told they we’re still cleaning rooms and would not be open for checkin until about 3 pm. 2. Coffee pot provided, but but no coffee or cups for coffee( luckily we brought our own Keurig). 3. Light on one side of the bed and desk did not work (was not the bulbs, we checked). 5. The door going out to the back of the facility was always open/unlocked. Not sure if it even...

"Lovely cottage with all amenities, with a beautiful view of (now dry in November) lake, which looks like a golden meadow. Wonderful kitchen, comfy beds, peaceful location with no observable neighbors and sense of quiet and solitude, but only a few minutes to Mt. Shasta. Perfect for 4 adults."

"Beautiful property and a working cattle ranch. Took the family and 2 grandkids. Fishing was a bit difficult, but lots of other fishing spots close by. We liked feeding the horses carrots. Cows were great to see all around. Ranch manager Tim was really helpful with tips. Nice ranch to hike all over. "

"We loved our short stay at this rental. The lack of wifi and limited service meant that we put down our phones and spent some real quality time together. We read books and mountain-gazed from the back porch. The house is definitely quirky, but not in a way that is unexpected for the area and we appreciated all of it’s unique details. We were in town for a wedding and this home was the perfect respite from the social overstimulation of a large celebration."

"Perfect stay for our small family reunion, with a nice fenced backyard for the dogs. Comfortable space, well stocked kitchen with all the necessary cooking items and a grill on the deck outside. Good location for a quiet getaway with a great view of the stars; we could see the Milky Way!"

"My wife and I stayed at this property when we were dating in 1997. Although the property has been updated, lots of things remain, and brought back beautiful memories. The staff was very nice and helpful. The property was VERY clean inside and out with LOTS of parking. Although it does not offer free breakfast, it does have a restaurant that people could order food from, (which we did not try). They also have a really nice bar/lounge, (which we did try), and it was excellent. They also had a HUGE indoor hot tub, and a really HUGE indoor pool. We loved our two night stay, and will cherish the memories."
