"The hostel had an excellent staff that were attentive and helpful. Rooms were cleanly, linens were neat, and shared spaces were well maintained with frequent restroom cleaning. Food on site was fairly priced and of good quality. Check in/out was very easy. Surrounding city area was a little dirty, to no fault of the hostel, and the property itself was very clean. Lots of food options in the area for takeout and smaller dine-in locations. Close to the subway entrance and multiple bus stops for easy public transit."

Love the UWS and proximity to the Park, great restaurants and playgrounds nearby, right by the subway station, the entire staff was helpful and friendly, our room was spacious, quiet, comfy, clean, and well-decorated. We will be back the next time we come to NYC. Thanks to all the Lucerne team!"
