"Beautiful resort. Security and staff account for you from the time you step off the plane right up to the minute you get back on one to head home. I saw other resorts that leave you on your own after your check out. Food was great all the time. Entertainment was very fun for singles or groups. Staff was very friendly and was never looking for a tip. Some people gave them but others were treated the same without. I have stayed at other all inclusive and for the price this one beats out others. I am definitely going back. "

"Stayed at the Riu for 5 nights and can not say a bad thing about it, property was well maintained, grounds are absolutely beautiful with hundreds of lush palm trees, food was excellent with a very good variety for any taste, specialty restaurants were very good with no up-charge, property was well laid out with one side being quieter and the other with more activity so there is a spot for anything you are looking for. Will definitely go back there!!!"

"I recently had the pleasure of staying at Lopesan Costa Bávaro, and I must say, it was an incredible experience. The hotel itself is a stunning piece of architecture, with beautiful landscapes and a serene atmosphere that immediately puts you in vacation mode. The service throughout the resort was impeccable, particularly in the buffet and various restaurants. One standout was Christopher Gonzalez, who was doing great ice cream rolls—such a fun and delicious treat! The staff was not only friendly but also incredibly accommodating, making sure that every meal was enjoyable. Additionally, another gentleman at the front desk, who spoke four or five languages, was exceptionally nice and helpful, enhancing our overall experience. However, I did have a negative encounter with Jose Alicia, who was in charge of the Bali beds at the pool. He was quite rude and even threatened to call security on us, despite the fact that it was our first day and we hadn’t done anything wrong. We had simply placed our belongings on a Bali bed because all other sunbeds were occupied. His approach could have been more polite, as there are definitely better ways to interact with guests than resorting to threats. This incident left my daughter feeling very scared, which was unfortunate and overshadowed the otherwise pleasant atmosphere. On a positive note, the food was consistently great, offering a wide variety of options that catered to different taste"

"We had an amazing time at this resort! The staff were very helpful and kind. Housekeeping cleaned up our room and gave fresh towels without asking, the staff at the restaurants were very good and made sure you had everything you needed. The food was good! There were some things that were not very good but that’s to be expected. I’m a very picky eater and never had a hard time finding something to eat. The only thing that was more difficult was the language barrier. Most of the staff spoke English, but we did have a few miscommunications. Again, that’s to be expected in a Spanish speaking country. Another thing is that there definitely aren’t enough chairs around the pool. People throw their towels on them early in the morning and never end up sitting in them but you can’t move their stuff. Unfortunately, if you want a chair at the pool you have to do the same thing. Another thing to be prepared for is that the showers don’t have doors. It’s just half of a wall, and if you’re not standing under the water, it’s freezing! Not sure what’s up with that design but it wasn’t the end of the world for us. Melvin at the front desk was amazing! He gave us a room upgrade for a great price and it was well worth it. We had an amazing view and balcony and our room was very clean when we arrived. Overall, I would stay here again and would recommend it to others!!"
