"Amazing. I will be back. Literally a 5 star experience walking distance to the most beautiful area in Kyoto. Very easy to access anything you want; food, shopping, shrines, metro and trains. The staff couldn’t be more kind always arranging taxis or giving suggestions of where to go and eat etc.. I was sad to leave this hotel. That doesn’t happen very often in traveling. I will be back here one day soon. ❤️"

Buffet breakfast had good choices from breads, fruits, to local fair. Location: Very busy area with a lot of people. The room gets daily cleaning and restocking, but the reception/concierge is not really present (they can be summoned with a phone call from the front desk). "We LOVED our room and the hotel as a whole. Our bathroom felt like a spa bathroom with the amazing deep soaking tub and intense water pressure. My only complaint would be that they made housekeeping really inaccessible (had to be requested AND you would have to leave your room for something like 3-5 hours???)This felt kind of extreme and a little cheap for such a wonderful property. Either way I highly recommend this hotel! "

"When arrived around 3pm local time, I was greeted by a staff member who actually spoke a pretty good English. She assisted me with various needs so I felt easy and home already. The room was nicely equipped just like what it stated and all worked flawlessly. Nice to have Family mart store located on the first floor of the same building. Definitely & highly recommend Minn Hotel chains when traveling to Japan. Couldn’t be happier."

"Perfect location in Gion, easy walking distance to convenient bus stops and subway stops, as well as many restaurants/shops. The Shirakawa river was so relaxing to watch. From our room, we could see cranes, turtles and large fish! Excellent decor with art and beautiful lighting, incredibly spacious (3 stories, all with full bath) with nice amenities (coffee/tea, pajamas/robe, umbrellas, laundry!, rooftop deck) and all rooms/floors had separate lockable entry code. I had only minor quibbles...
