"Excellent concierge staff who are very professional, helpful, pleasant, friendly experienced and efficient. Speak good English and impressed by their willingness and sincerity in helping guests solve problems. Check in speedy. We are very pleased with their great service which made our stay very enjoyable and memorable. Breakfast buffet spread decent. "The resort has a peaceful, cool atmosphere that's perfect for relaxing. The rooms are new and spotless, which made my stay very comfortable. What I loved most was waking up and just taking a few steps to the beach for some sunbathing. It's incredibly convenient!"

"On the Golden Halong website, it states the hotel has a spa, gym, tour desk, room service and bar. It has none of these. The staff speak minimal english, making it difficult to ask for advice on local attractions, restaurants or shopping. The location is terrible, no where near the marina that all the tour boats operate out of. Breakfast is geared towards Chinese and if you want hot food you need to get there at 0630 hours when it opens, however, you then need to contend with all the tour...
